Twin Set

This photo was taken in July, 2000 from the Staten Island Ferry on my very first trip to NYC. It was also taken with the first digital camera I had – an HP of some sort that I got for free with my Dell computer. Because it was digital, I felt free to snap as many photos as I wanted to and thus got this photo of these two girls in front of the Twin Towers of the WTC.

Growing up in Southern California, NYC was another world that I knew little about. I did not feel compelled to go up into the WTC building, though we did drive by it on a bus tour. This photo is one of the few I have of the buildings.
